The appts. to wrap a sealing strip of a material which can be welded, round at least one blister strip stack (3) and the like for wrapping and packaging, has a holder wheel (25) which rotates in steps. It has a number of U-shaped holders (26), which are positioned in sequence along the line of product feed, with a cutting and sealing unit (35) in front of the opening. A section of the wrapping material (4) is tensed over the front of the holder (26) opening so that, as the blister packs (3) are pushed into the holder opening (26), the wrapping band (4) is pulled into the opening with it and is partially wrapped round it.
