PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable ink jet recording head in which highly accurate alignment can be carried out easily without requiring any special assembling jig. SOLUTION: When a flexible printed board(FPC) is connected with a recording head utilizing a piezoelectric element as lead wires for applying a drive voltage thereto, the FPC 9 is provided with a positioning slit 21 into which a recording head is inserted. Highly accurate alignment can be carried out by generating a pushing force for bonding the FPC to the recording head utilizing tension of the FPC.
