DEHYDRATION METHOD OF AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF ORGANIC SOLVENT AND WASTE HEAT RECOVERY DEVICE OF VAPOR OF ORGANIC SOLVENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration method for dehydrating an aqueous solution of an organic solvent by recovering condensation latent heat of the organic solvent vapor being waste heat and a waste heat recovery device. SOLUTION: A vapor of an organic solvent generated in a refining column 1 of the organic solvent is heat exchanged with an aqueous solution of the organic solvent to condense the vapor of the organic solvent. The aqueous solution of the organic solvent is introduced into a dehydration column 2 having a pressure lower than the vapor pressure of the aqueous solution of the organic solvent at a temperature of the vapor of the organic solvent generated in the column 1 to recover the condensation latent heat of the organic solvent vapor, being waste heat, whereby the aqueous solution of the organic solvent is dehydrated, and a device to recover the waste heat is provided.
