A shower water additive dispensing apparatus includes a reservoir for additive, such as body oil. The reservoir is coupled to a conduit leading to a shower head. A hand held actuator is provided at a remote end of an umbilical cord to control the release of additive from the reservoir into shower water exiting the shower head. The umbilical cord enables the user to position their body and then dispense additive on selective parts of their body.
