PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make suppressible flaws produced when a charged carrier leaking from a magnetic brush is pressed in a transfer process, by forming a surface layer essentially constituted of a three-dimensionally crosslinked resin film and specifying the Young's modulus of the surface layer in the test for physical properties of a surface coating film. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor for an injection electrification process using a magnetic brush as an electrifying device, the surface layer is essentially constituted of a resin which is three-dimensionally crosslinked. The surface layer has 6.0 [GPa] to 9.0 [GPa] Young's modulus E in the test for physical properties of a surface film. When the surface layer having a protective layer comprising a resin formed by three-dimensional crosslinking has the Young's modulus E far less than 6.0, a charged carrier leaking from the magnetic brush of the electrifying device is pressed to the transfer material in the transfer process to produce flaws. If the Young's modulus E exceeds far over 9.0, the resin has less elasticity, and the charged carrier leaking from the brush is pressed to cause cracks of the surface.
