A one piece workpiece formed from a fineblanking process, said workpiece having two sides and comprising at least one raised portion proximate a first side thereof and a substantially smooth surface proximate the second side thereof opposite the at least one raised portion of the first side, said at least one raised portion being raised laterally away from the first side of the workpiece. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing the workpiece utilizing a unique tool.
