PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food cooling method for a cooling chamber, which can carry out quick cooling without freezing food. SOLUTION: A surface temperature and/or an internal temperature of food is detected by a temperature sensor 12, and quick cooling is carried out by cold air at a temperature lower than a freezing temperature of the food until the surface temperature of the food reaches the freezing temperature. After the surface temperature reaches the freezing temperature, cooling by continuous or intermittent cold air is carried out so that the surface temperature and/or the internal temperature is maintained to a set temperature suitable for reserving the cold state, which is slightly higher than the freezing temperature. |
