PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which reduce interference due to noise from a cooling fan for a plasma display device which uses a PDP. SOLUTION: This plasma display device 1 is so constituted that the PDP 4 is engaged with a frame 5, etc., provided between a front housing 2a and a rear housing 2b, and driven by a drive circuit, etc., mounted on a circuit board 6 to display television video, etc., in the display window of the front housing 2a where an optical filter 3 is mounted. A cooling fan 7 is provided at the upper part of the plasma display device 1, to radiate the heat generated by the PDP and circuit board. Ducts 8a, 8b, etc., which differ in acoustic effects are provided at the air discharge hole of the cooling fan 7 to reduce noise, such as the wind noise generated by the cooling fan 7.
