<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dehydrate and dry concd. sludge. SOLUTION: An almost horizontal traveling part 2, to which a gently inclined filter cloth 1 is attached, is provided on the upstream side of a corrugated conveyor C1 over which a corrugated filter cloth 1 is attached, the water in the concd. sludge flowing down onto the filter cloth 1 at the traveling part 2 is filtered off by gravity and further forcedly filtered off by the air pressure of a dehydration air fan F1 to obtain an oozy sludge, the resultant oozy sludge is conveyed to a corrugated traveling part 3 furnished in succession to the almost horizontal traveling part 2 on its downstream side, and compression and tension are repeatedly exerted on the oozy sludge in the traveling part 3 to dry the oozy sludge.</p> |
