PURPOSE: The sealed structure of a lithium ion battery is provided, so that a pierced hole can combine a function of a gas outlet and a function of an electrolyte injection port. CONSTITUTION: The sealed structure of a lithium ion battery comprises a battery cap. The battery cap is assembled on an upper part of a square-shaped lithium ion battery case, and seals the inner part of the case. A pierced hole is formed on one side of the battery cap, electrolyte is injected to the inner part of the case. The pierced hole is broken by a safety belt forming a notch, and a function of an electrolyte injection port and a function of a gas outlet are combined. The pierced hole has the size of 0.2 mm to 10 mm, and is widely formed than existing size.
