PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine triggering function for ordinary load and excellent base isolation function for earthquake in the structure of an interface between the upper structure side and the foundation side without separately installing a trigger mechanism and provide structural members with less deformation and damage and excellent long-term durability. SOLUTION: In the structure of an interface between a supporting board 1 fixed to a foundation B side and a supporting bed 3 flexed to the upper structure A side, both of them are supported in slidable bearing via a sliding material 2 in a normal condition (an initial condition) and supported in movable rolling bearing via a spherical body 5 during operation following an earthquake.
