PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and certainly detect rotation abnormality of a rotation shaft and early perform the maintenance such as replacement of the rotation shaft, by providing a vibration sensor for detecting vibration. SOLUTION: A thread strip processing roller can speedily and certainly detects rotation abnormality caused by shaft fatigue or the like, by mounting a vibration sensor 9 to a first board 8 rotating with a rotation shaft 2 of a driving motor 1 and directly detecting a vibration amount of the rotation shaft 2. Because the vibration sensor 9 is arranged on the opposite side of the end to which a roller body of the rotation shaft 2 is mounted, the sensor can accurately detect the rotation abnormality without receiving influence from heating by a heater. Wiring from the outside of the first board 8 is not required, wiring can be facilitated, and repair of the thread strip processing roller such as replacement of a bearing can be performed early.
