PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the shape of a plate spring used for the opening/closing door of an upward-downward sliding door mechanism used for a car navigation system, etc., simpler by reducing the operating load of the door. SOLUTION: The opening/closing door 21 of an upward-downward sliding door mechanism is attached in a vertically movable state in such a way that, on the back side of the door 21, first and second arm gears 24 and 25 having gear sections at their front ends and studs 28 protruded from its base-side end are arranged nearly horizontally in a state where their middle sections are supported and their gear sections 26 are meshed with each other and, at the same time, the studs 28 of the gears 24 and 25 are passed through two long holes 13 formed on an escutcheon panel 11 side and pressed inward by means of a plate spring 1 attached between the studs 28 on the back side of the panel 11. The plate spring 1 is formed in a mountain-like form by bending the spring 1 at obtuse angles at first and second bending sections 201 and 202 set on the spring 1.
