PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make user data within a recording unit have superiority of a power of two, for example, to put an external link system '2k byte link' to practical use without hindrance. SOLUTION: An information recording method is executed by recording information accompanied with a recording sector address on an LPP(land prepit) address provided on an optical information recording medium. Address calculation is easily performed even if a deviation is present between the LPP address and the recording sector address as the deviation is made at a fixed rule by making a prescribed fixed information quantity as a recording unit and recording a link part 12 of 1 sector length portion, in which an address is not alotted between the recording units thereof, and recording the information while shifting the LPP address and the recording sector address by the length of the link part 12 for every fixed recording unit, thereby putting the external link system, in which the link part 12 is provided outside the recording unit, into practice without hindrance.
