PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile system with which a user recognizes electronic mail information when the user carries a cordless slave set, even if the user stays at a place separate from a personal computer. SOLUTION: A personal computer 13 has an electronic mail communication section 13c, an external communication section 13a, that communicates with a facsimile equipment provided with cordless telephone set, and an electronic main transfer section 13b that informs the facsimile equipment by using the external communication section 13a regarding electronic mail information detected by the electronic mail communication section 13c. The facsimile equipment has a PC interface section 11 that communicates data with the personal computer via the external communication section 13a, a cordless master set control section 9 and a cordless slave set control section 10 that conduct speech communication and data communication with cordless telephone sets, and the PC interface section 11 has an electronic mail notice section 11a that informs the cordless master set control section of the received electronic mail information.
