PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak detection device for an evaporated fuel gas treating device which can properly detect fuel leak at all times by eliminating effect of an increase in the inner pressure of a fuel tank caused by the evaporation of fuel. SOLUTION: Evaporation correlative temperature T to be correlative with the amount of fuel evaporation is estimated based on gas phase temperature Tair and liquid phase temperature Tfuel within a fuel tank (S112), a leak judging valveΔP0 is set up based on evaporation correlative temperature T (S114), a pressure restoring condition at the time when the line pressure of a fuel evaporated gas treating device is decompressed, is compared with a leak judging valveΔP0 in order to determine any leak, and judgement on leak is made regardless of the temperature distribution in the inside of the fuel tank based on a leak judging valveΔP0 to be correlative with the amount of fuel evaporation.
