PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier apparatus capable of being easily transferred, installed to a required location when necessary, temporarily or periodically appropriately opened and closed. SOLUTION: A blower is mounted to a box body provided with an opening in one wall. A bag-shaped extensible barrier is mounted to the inside of the box body in such a way as to surround an exhaust opening of the blower. When the blower is operated to supply air for the inside of the barrier, the barrier is substantially extended in a horizontal direction from the opening of the box body and maintains tension mode. When the operation of the blower is halted, the pneumatic pressure inside the barrier is reduced to relieve the tension mode in the extensible barrier apparatus. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
