PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure straight advancing property in the vertical operation of a punch as well as to improve changing workability and detachability of a punch. SOLUTION: A hammering mechanism in a punching machine unit having a punch ram 22 attached to a punch setting part of a unit main body U and having a hammering mechanism 38 of a punch 38 and a punch holder 54 provided on the punch ram is improved. A hammer part 50 is provided by being connected to a driving part of the hammering mechanism arranged on a punch ram 22, the hammer part connects a hammer 52 connected to the driving part through a coupling 53 to the punch holder 54 and a bearing cage 55 is interposed in the surface to which the hammer and the punch holder are to be connected.
