PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow various types of callings to be conducted by a radio remote controller of a water heater by changing a calling alarm sound by a remote controller according to a pattern of a calling operation from the controller. SOLUTION: A water heater body 1 is controlled by a water heater controller 2 according to indications of remote controllers 3 to 5 to conduct a hot water supply temperature control and other various operations and to transmit its own operating state to the controllers 3 to 5. Signal communications between the controller 2 and the controllers 3 to 5 are conducted through a communication unit 6. The bathroom remote controller 3 indicates an operation to the body 1 and displays the operation of the body 1. Further, a bathroom calling switch 7 of the controller 3 is operated so that the kitchen remote controller 5 generates a calling alarm. The calling alarm sound is changed by first and second switches 8, 9 of the calling controller 4.
