PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip-resistant shoe sole which cut water film and oil film and keep filmly securing a floor surface without the deformation of block design in spite of the presence of these film on the floor surface. SOLUTION: This shoe sole is molded of rubber, polyvinyl chloride or polyurethane having hardness of 54 to 62 (JIS-A, 20 deg.C) so as to have a thickness of >=3 to <=8 mm in the thinnest part and to have a block design pattern of polygonal shape, circular shape, etc., in the shank part of the shoe sole. The block design pattern is formed to 1 to 7 mm in design height, 0 to 3 deg. in design gradient and 2 to 8 mm in minimum dimension and a top thereof is formed flat without rugged pattern.
