PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference of the threshing teeth of a threshing cylin der with a threshing opening plate, when a threshing cylinder cover in which the threshing cylinder is rotatably and pivotally erected is upward moved to open a threshing chamber. SOLUTION: This threshing machine 10 is provided with a threshing cylinder cover 48 in which a threshing cylinder 12 is rotatably and pivotally erected and which covers the upper side of the threshing cylinder 12, and with a lower case 54 installed with grading devices 20, 28 disposed below the threshing cylinder cover 48. A threshing chamber 56 is formed between the threshing cylinder cover 48 and the lower case 54, and the threshing cylinder cover 48 and the threshing cylinder 12 can integrally be opened or closed on a support point shaft 62 disposed above the lower case 54. On the side of the lower case 54, a threshing opening plate 60 is disposed along the lower portion of the threshing opening 58 of the threshing chamber 56, and grooves 64 for the escape of threshing teeth 16 are formed in the threshing opening plate 60.
