PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive simplification and the like to a recording part-constituting ink jet part and the arrangement structure of an electrode in an ink jet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a projected election part 2, a voltage application electrode 1 having the same polarity as the electric charge polarity of toner particles for the coagulation of toner particles, and a recording electrode 10 provided at the back surface of recording paper 9 for the application of pulse voltage having the opposite polarity to the toner particles in use of ink 3 with static coloring particles dispersed in isolating liquid, furthermore, an anisotropic electric conductor 15 interposed between the recording electrode 10 and the recording paper 9 as required.
