FILAMENT WINDING MANDREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel characterized by that a mandrel main body is not damaged when a molded object is cut on the mandrel after resin curing by a cutter when a cylindrical body made of FRP(fiber reinforced plastic) is to be molded by a filament winding method. SOLUTION: A mandrel 1 is formed in such a state that a drive shaft 3 pierces a mandrel main body 2 and stepped parts 4 are provided between both end parts of the mandrel main body 2 and the drive shaft 3. Key grooves 4a are formed in the stepped parts 4 and cutting rings 5 made of a resin and restricting rings 6 are fitted in the stepped parts 4 and fixed to the mandrel main body 2 in an integrally rotatable and detachable manner. The prescribing rings 6 are made of a metal and have pins 8 provided therein at a predetermined pitch along the peripheral direction. A molded object formed by a filament winding method is cut at the position opposed to the cutting rings 5 after resin curing by a cutter.
