PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for shortage in an engine output torque due to a fluctuation of an atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: A plurality of differential mechanisms 4 and 6 are provided to control a difference in the number of revolutions between input and output shafts by motors 8 and 9. The input and output shafts of the differential mechanisms 4 and 6 are used in common with each other. Generating torque of the motors 8 and 9 are estimated from an armature current used for control of the motors and from assigned motor torque, engine torque is calculated. When vehicle torque intended by a driver is not obtained, desired vehicle torque is obtained by assisting torque by the motors 8 and 9. |
