PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular medical instrument having high contrast effect by X-ray, superior in the flexbility on its distal end, and capable of being easily inserted into a very narrow part, and reducing the resistance in the insertion of a treatment instrument inserted along an inner cavity of the tubular medical instrument. SOLUTION: A tubular medical instrument comprises a flexible tube 4 having an inner cavity 5 continued from a distal end 4a to a proximal end 4b, and a metallic coil 10 mounted on the distal end part of the flexible tube 4. It is prefered that the metallic coil 10 is mounted on an inner periphery of the distal end part of the flexible tube 4, but it can be optionally mounted on an outer periphery of the distal end part of the tube in some case, or optionally buried inside of a tubular wall of the tube 4. |
