PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an isolator as a nonreversible circuit element to which an LPF function is attached, without impairing the characteristics of an isolator operation frequency band from conventional characteristics by forming a ground terminal for external connection between terminals related to the input/output of a signal. SOLUTION: Input/output terminals 11 and 12 are arranged on a mounting surface, and a ground terminal 13 which is one of ground terminals for external connection is provided at the center between the terminals 11 and 12. A ground electrode is respectively connected to electrodes 17a to 17c and 15 with a through-hole, and the ground electrode is electrically connected to these electrodes 17a to 17c and 15 through a lower case 16 made of metallic magnetic material. Thus, it is possible to obtain a nonreversible circuit element, whose attenuation is large in a high frequency region, without damaging a transmission characteristic from the conventional practice. It is also possible to use it as a nonreversible circuit element, having a LPF function and to make t conventionally used LPF unnecessary by mounting a nonreversible circuit element on a substrate and using it.
