PURPOSE: Preparing method of coke with high crystallization at low temperature and a method easily controls the isotropy and anisotropy of optical structure of coke and distribution of anisotropic structure during the preparation process by changing temperature, pressure, and starting materials are required. CONSTITUTION: The invention is disclosed a preparing method of coke with high crystallization used as a precursor of discharge manipulating electrode, carbon brush, aluminum refining electrode rod, and carbon material for condensation polymerization of carbon sources from heavy distillate/heavy oil derived from petroleum, coal tar/tar pitch derived from coal or aromatic compounds with halogen compounds. The method is consisted of a) condensation polymerization of the carbon sources and 1.2 to 112 weight % of halogen compounds, sulfur-halogen compounds, phospho-halogen compounds as radical initiators, b) Coking reaction of products for 1 to 30 hrs at 380 to 600°C or UV irradiation and heating under different pressure conditions. The method is high yield and time-saving process, and easily control the anisotropy of coke structure by changing of temperature, pressure, and starting materials. |
