PURPOSE: A signal light using letters jointly are provided to protect people from a traffic accident by previously informing change time of a traffic signal of a vehicle driver with letters and reduce traffic indigestion. CONSTITUTION: An electric sign board is installed on a top side or a light/left end of an existing signal light to count a period of a signal as a numeric. A vehicle driver can visually know change time of a signal to prevent the driver from rapidly starting or stopping. If the change time is set to one minute, 60 is displayed in an electric light plate. 1 is reduced in each minute. If 0 is displayed therein, the signal lamp is changed and a next signal is turned on.
