PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably perform good slitting by sharpening the cut end of a sheet. SOLUTION: A slitter yoke 12 is arranged below a feeding line for a cardboard sheet S, and a slitter blade 24 is rotatably arranged on a slitter head 20 pivotally supported on the yoke 12 so as to be freely oscillated. A sheet receiving device 32 facing the slitter blade 24 and for stably supporting a sheet S is arranged above the feeding line for the cardboard sheet S. The sheet receiving device 32 is rotatably provided with a pair of receiving rollers 58, 60 to be separated in the sheet feeding direction. Both rollers 58, 60 support the cardboard sheet S at their both sides in the sheet feeding direction, for pinching the slitter blade 24 facing the slitting position.
