PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasterer trowel for reducing the time of reciprocatingly motions of a trowel plate to level a mortar surface and improving working efficiency by improving the configuration of a recessed groove in a lower face of the trowel plate. SOLUTION: Outwardly curved faces 2c are formed at both ends of the vertical face 2a and the inclined face 2b of a recessed groove 2 formed in the lower face 1a of a trowel plate 1, both faces 2a, 2b being continuously formed. The vertical face 2a and the inclined face 2b are joined to each other with circular curved faces 2d formed thereon and the inner face of the recessed groove 2 is formed with no acute corner as a whole.
