<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven vehicle charging system which can couple a power feeding coupler and a power receiving coupler with each other without catching foreign substances, etc., between them and without a trouble. SOLUTION: A light receiving/emitting device 96 provided on a power feeding coupler 40 side detects the position of a reflector 132 provided on a power receiving coupler 118 side and, while the detected state of the reflector 132 is kept, the power feeding coupler 40 is transferred to be coupled with the power receiving coupler 118. If the reflector 132 is not detected, it is judged that an obstruction exists between the reflector 132 and the device 96 and the operation of the transfer of the power feeding coupler 40 is stopped.</p> |
