FEEDER CUP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SUPPLYING POWDER WITH THIS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the filling condition of power from becoming ununiform and a bridge from occurring by providing a stirring means for stirring the powder in a main body of a feeder cup. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with the main body of a feeder cup 7 where a powder chute 2 is placed on the top side and a powder supply port 4 on the bottom side and with a stirring means 8 for stirring powder 1 inside the feeder cup. Then, the quantity of the powder supplied from the powder chute 2 is controlled so as to hold the quantity of the powder in the feeder cup 7 at 40 to 80% of the internal volume of the cup. By filling a hole 3a of a mold 3 with the powder 1 while stirring it with the stirring means 8, subsequently, the bulk density of the powder 1 is temporarily lessened to improve fluidity and prevent the bridge from occurring in the powder 1. Consequently, the hole 3a of the mold 3 can be filled with the powder 1 uniformly and securely. Incidentally, stirring blades 10 is rotated together with a rotational axis 9 placed horizontally so as to be orthogonal to the moving direction of the main body of the feeder cup 7 when the powder 1 is supplied.
