Phosphorous-modified coating matters, a process for their production and utilisation thereof

Intumescent halogen-free flameproof coating materials comprising :(A) 75-95 parts weight epoxy resins ; (B) 5-25 parts weight polyphosphonic and/or polyphosphoric acid esters ; and (C) curing agent. The (A) + (B)/(C) weight ratio is 1.1-10:1. Also claimed are (i) the preparation of the coatings by reacting (A) and (B) and then adding (C), and (ii) the use of these materials for the preparation of coatings.
