PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method for a hydraulic control device for a hydraulic elevator capable of improving running performance of a car, and completing repairing work at a low cost and in a short period. SOLUTION: After removing an existing control panel, leaving a hydraulic power unit 2 and a tank 4 as they are, a microcomputer control panel 3 is newly provided, an oil temperature sensor 5 is installed under the tank 4, a hydraulic sensor 6 is installed on a stop valve 2d of the hydraulic power unit 2, measurement signals outputted from the sensors 5, 6 are taken into the microcomputer control panel 3, and the measurement signals are used as control data in the microcomputer control panel 3. Need of replacing the whole body of a hydraulic control device is thus eliminated, and the hydraulic power unit 2 can be controlled in accordance with oil temperature and pressure of working fluid which are changed by usage environment, thereby low speed running time when a car is landed can be reduced.
