PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid lubricant for drawing welding-wire which is excellent in drawing properties and welding-operability in a drawing process and can prevent low-temperature cracks, pits, blow-holes, or the like due to adsorbed water by blending specific contents of MoS2, CaCO3, a compound containing an alkali metal, and a specific mineral. SOLUTION: A solid lubricant for drawing welding-wire is obtained by blending 5-50 wt.% of MoS2, 5-50 wt.% of CaCO3, 1-15 wt.%, preferably 1-10 wt.%, of a compound containing an alkali metal, and 5-50 wt.% of at least one mineral selected from mica, sericite and talc. A welding-wire containing flux is obtained by adhering this solid lubricant on the surface of a wire at the ratio of 0.01-50 g lubricant per 1 kg of the welding-wire. Because this wire is excellent in wire sending property and rusting property, operability can be improved without forming pits on the surface of weld beads nor having breaks at line drawing. |
