<p>The invention relates to an intelligent contact terminal to be connected with the current distribution system of vehicles. The contact terminal is divided into a power electronics section (1) and a control electronics section (2) with a space therebetween for receiving a cable (3). The power electronics section (1) is provided with power switches for supplying current to actuators as well as with contact pins (4) for connecting the cable (3) to a current wire (6). The low-current control electronics section (2) is provided with contact pins (5) for attachment of the cable (3) to a code wire (7). One edge of the terminal sections (1, 2) carries conductors (12) for connecting the power and control electronics sections (1, 2). The arrangement prevents effectively the heat of the power electronics section from transferring to the low-current control electronics section.</p> |
