PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely set the melodies and rhythms of an incoming sound and a notification sound. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set has a KEY input part 16 which inputs setting data for setting output rhythms of predetermined audio frequencies of an incoming sound, a display part 15 which displays the setting data inputted from the KEY input part 16, a memory 14 which stores the setting data inputted from the KEY input part 16, an audio frequency generation part 12 which generates the predetermined audio frequencies, a timer 13 which generates timing pulses of the output rhythms with the setting data, a sounder 11 which loudens the set audio frequencies, a signal processing part 5 which performs output ON/OFF control over the signals of the sounder 11, a receiver 10, and a microphone 9, and a control part 6 which controls the timer 13 and audio frequency generation part 12 and also controls the whole according to the setting data stored in the memory 14. |
