摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and cost of the information processor. SOLUTION: When a fault in any one of information processing circuits 101 to 10N is detected by its corresponding fault detector out of plural fault detectors 121 to 12N, a reconstitution means 16 outputs a command for reading out reconstitution data corresponding to the failed information processing circuit to a reconstitution enabling circuit 18. The circuit 18 constitutes a fail/safe circuit for reading out reconstitution data corresponding to the failed information processing circuit from reconstitution data stored in a reconstitution data storing circuit 20 and executing a part of the function of the failed information processing circuit based on the read reconstitution data. An input limit circuit 14 limits the output of an inputted input signal only to an input signal necessary for the fail/safe operation of the failed information processing circuit. The fail/safe circuit constituted in the circuit 18 outputs a substitutive output signal corresponding to the input signal inputted from the circuit 14 to output the substitutive output signal from an output switching circuit.
