PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a camera control system that is a large scale system relating to camera control with wideness and economy of an applied environment and an applied object. SOLUTION: In the photographing system provided with a plurality of cameras that control photographing conditions (photographing attitude and zoom), photographing conditions of at least one camera 1-1 is controlled manually and the remaining camera 1-3 is automatically controlled according to position information of an object obtained by an AF function of the camera 1-1 that is manually controlled. Thus, it is not required for the operator to individually control a plurality of cameras 1-1, 1-3 and the cameras are applicable independently of an operating environment and an operating object without the use of exclusive hardware by the control utilizing the existing AF function.
