PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy for fixing a flange to a hub even if they are molded of resin, by fastening the flange to the end part of the hub with an adhesive when fixing a disk-like flange to the cylindrical end part of the hub for winding a tape around the outer peripheral surface. SOLUTION: A tape reel 1 is molded by synthesis resin in one body with a cylindrical hub 3 for winding a magnetic tape around the outer peripheral surface 3a and a flange part 4 projecting in a disk form in the radial direction from the outer periphery of one of the end parts of the hub 3. A separately molded cylindrical flange 5 is fixed to the other end part of the hub 3 with adhesive. In this case the adhesive is applied by a predetermined means, and while positioning both parts, the brim part 7 of the flange 5 is fitted in the inner peripheral surface 3b of the hub 3, and the annular projecting part 8 is engaged with the step part 6 for assembling, and the outer peripheral surface 7a of the flange brim part 7 and the inner peripheral surface 3b of the hub 3 are joined on a plane parallel to the rotary shaft of the hub 3. The end face 8a of the annular projecting part 8 and the end face 6a of the step part 6 are joined on a plane perpendicular to the rotary shaft of the hub 3.
