PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device capable of improving electrification uniformity and realizing ozoneless injection electrification at low applied voltage. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic device is provided with an electrophotographic photoreceptor, an electrifying means for forming a nip part with the electrophotographic photoreceptor and electrifying the electrophotographic photoreceptor by applying the voltage to an electrifying member consisting of a magnetic brush magnetically restricting magnetic particles, an exposure means, a developing means and a transfer means. In the device, the surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor incorporates charge transport substance and binding resin whose dielectric constant is 2.6 to 3.6, and non-magnetic electrification accelerating particles which are conductive, whose electric negative degree is <=16, and whose main particle diameter is within the range of 10 nm to 5μm are made to exist on a contact surface between the electrification member and the electrophotographic photoreceptor so as to perform the injection electrification on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor.
