CONTROL METHOD OF FORGING DIE AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a die by preventing the die from being damaged even through an upper die abuts on a lower die when a forging stock is not yet loaded in a cavity. SOLUTION: A hydraulic controller 10 is provided with a pressure sensor 121 which detects the pressure of pressurized fluid filled in a pressure chamber and a pressure reducing and relieving valve 133 which detects whether or not the oil pressure of pressurized oil filled in the pressure chamber 58 composing a buffer mechanism reaches an initial setting pressure in a forming initial stage based on detecting signals outputted from the pressure sensor 121 and which guides out the pressurized oil filled in the pressure chamber 58 to a tank 110 via a relief valve 104 on the assumption that the forging stock is not yet loaded when the oil pressure of the pressurized oil filled in the pressure chamber 58 does not yet reach the initial setting pressure.
