PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for a polymeric optical waveguide having high solvent resistance, avoiding intermixing, excellent in heat resistance, less liable to double refraction and excellent also in workability by incorporating a specified urethane (meth)acrylate and a specified reactive monomer. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains a urethane (meth)acrylate not containing a benzene ring in its molecule, a reactive monomer not containing a benzene ring in its molecule and a photopolymerization initiator. The urethane (meth)acrylate is obtained, e.g. by allowing a polyol to react with an aliphatic or alicyclic group-containing organic polyisocyanate and an aliphatic or alicyclic group-containing monohydroxy (meth)acrylate. The reactive monomer is, e.g. an aliphatic (meth)acrylate or an alicyclic group-containing (meth)acrylate. |
