PURPOSE: A current time information displaying method when setting a reservation recording is provided, which displays a current time and a date and a day of the week in the today on a reservation set data input screen when setting a reservation recording of a VCR. CONSTITUTION: The current time information displaying method comprises the steps: (100-103) displaying a main menu screen through an OSD processing unit (5) when a main menu selecting button is inputted and displaying an individuation/every day/every week recording item selecting screen when a reservation recording item is selected; (104-113) reading a time information of a PDC broadcasting channel and a time information of an ACS data, judging as to whether a predetermined current time information is identical to the current broadcasting channel time information, displaying a current day/time/week on the reservation recording set data input screen when the predetermined current time information is identical to the current broadcasting channel time information, and revising the setting time to the current broadcasting time to display the revised day/time/week on the reservation recording set data input screen. Thereby, it is possible to improve the convenience of a user.
