PURPOSE: A touch signal control device and method is provided to improve a process performance of a processor by controlling an operation of the processor generated every time with regard to a touch operation. CONSTITUTION: The touch signal control device comprises: a signal generating part(102) which periodically generates a predetermined control signal; a signal sensing part(112) which senses whether or not of a touch when infrared rays are incident according to the control signal; an X, Y co-ordinates storage part(104, 106) which stores co-ordinates of a predetermined location touched according to the sensing operation of the signal sensing part(112); a frequency comparison part(113) which compares the co-ordinates value stored in the storage part(104, 106) and co-ordinates generated after; and an interrupt generating part(114) which transfers an interrupt signal to a processor(100) so as to control a corresponding program when the touch operation is generated over a predetermined frequency.
