PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device that displays the line number of an opposite party by using a ten-key of a telephone set or the like. SOLUTION: This communication device is provided with a line number storage section that stores the line number of an opposite party, a ten-key display section 5 of a master set or a slave set to which an output signal of the line number storage section is applied, and a control section 3 that controls reading of a line number stored in the line number storage section to control its application to the ten-key display section 5, and the control section 3 allows the ten-key display section 5 to display the received line number at a speed capable of being sequentially recognized visually.
