PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed-light lighting system capable of approximating the spectral distribution of the solar light in a specific range of wavelength, as well as capable of approximating the reference solar light. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pseudo-solar light source which includes a metal halide lamp and a halogen lamp, a spectral distribution control means where the ratio of the radiant energy in a visible range to that in an infrared range emitted from the metal halide lamp falls in the range of 10% below to 10% above the ratio (specific energy) of the radiant energy, in the visible light range of 400 nm to 750 nm to the radiant energy in the infrared range of 750 nm to 2,500 nm in the reference solar light, and a spectral distribution control means which transmits the radiant energy ranging from 650 nm to 1,100 nm through the halogen lamp, and where the ratio of the radiant energy in the visible light range from 650 nm to 750 nm to the radiant energy in an infrared light range from 750 nm to 1,100 nm is in the range of 10% below to 10% above the required energy.
