<p>A WDM transmitter comprises connectors (7, 8) for providing a local interface for electric signals, and an optical connector (4) connected with a multiplex transmission line of optical signals. The WDM transmitter further comprises a display (3) for indicating the presence of an optical signal supplied to the multiple transmission line, and a display (9) for indicating the type of an electric signal supplied to the local interface. Since the presence and type of the signal flowing to each interface can easily be recognized, the WDM transmitter is useful to operators.</p> |
