PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve washing ability and facilitate maintenance in a continuous washing apparatus comprising a washing mechanical part, which comprises plural rotary blushes parallelly arranged on a cleaning water tank and a driving part for the rotary blushes, and a pressing mechanical part having a pressing body placed above the rotary blushes, and capable of performing washing operation while the washing object is being transferred due to the rotary driving of the rotary blushes. SOLUTION: A rotary blush 21 is divided into a large diameter part and a small diameter part having a difference in level between them in the axial direction. Rotary blushes 21 are parallelly arranged in such a manner that the large diameter part and the small diameter part of the neighboring blushes come into contact with each other, and thereby a small-root part of a Japanese radish can be washed effectively. Further, a pressing mechanical part 3 is mounted in a freely flappable state with the result that the upper part of the rotary blushes can be opened.
