PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposing head capable of conducting the heat generated by a light emitting element to the medium (thyristor film) side with a high efficiency, capable of promoting the coloring reaction efficiently, also with a good cooling efficiency, to be adopted preferably in an exposing part of an image forming apparatus, such as a printer. SOLUTION: A plurality of light emitting elements 20 are arranged on a wiring substrate 50 for exposing a thyristor film 10 at a position adjacent thereto. A light blocking member 40 having a high heat conductivity is filled in the vicinity of the arranged light emitting elements 20, with the light outputting surface of the light emitting elements 20 exposed. A light outputting member 30 comprising a member with a high heat conductivity is provided on the upper surface of the arranged light emitting elements 20, with an aperture 31 provided in the light outputting member 30, corresponding to the light outputting surface of the light emitting elements 20 so as to provide an optical diaphragm. The wiring substrate 50 comprising a member with a heat insulating property conducts the heat generated by the light emitting elements 20 to the light blocking member 40 and light outputting member 30 side, and further conducts the same form the light outputting member 30 to the thyristor film 10.
